Vibskov SS12

swimming in a sea of popularity is mr. Henrik Vibskov (what a Yoda sentence). With his innovative fashion shows and oddly characteristic design, he truly is one of my all-time favorites. For the SS12 he created at set of outfits consisting of mostly abstract patterns in a frame of black. Add to that the (as always) hats and artsy glasses and (the best part, if you ask me) the scenery of the show. With the use of wooden materials, which has become sort of his “trademark” in terms of presentations, connected to -literally- dynamic architecture; the result leaves me with the opinion that yet another Henrik Vibskov show is utterly complete. Here – above – I give you two similar outfits. I can’t say why, but I adore the shit out of this pattern. It looks like a mixture of the milkyway and the inside of a jellyfish. Want more?

Vogue Cut-Outs on a rainy day

Its raining outside, I can hear the raindrops on my window and I’m totally having fall/autumn vibes.. But also really enjoying myself with this Vogue and thought I’d might share my favourites with you.. And as always in life you see things clearly when cutting them out (and there is actually a slighty offending phrase for this in Danish. So much for random facts.) – In particular I realise that I’m in a “lady phase”, I like focus on the waist, and brownish colours, and fur-like things.. And pink. And A-line cuts (but of course only with the focus on the waist).. And while writing this I realise it’s little different from last year. But let’s blame the German Vogue and the prejudice(!) against German fashion interpretations, hence the limited fashion impressions at my disposal in this edition of the German Vogue.. Right?

Versace for H&M

All over the blog’sphere, still it must be shouted here as well. to all of us low-budget-yet-garment-hungry: Donatella Versace has agreed on a collaboration with H&M – hitting the shops 17.11.11. (300 shops worldwide+the web)
Keywords are “Versace Glam” and “Rock’n'roll”. pretty awsome I say. Let’s wait with bated breath.

Anika Lori Tote Bags – limited edition (@Bakken with Cover, MasterCard & Samsøe Samsøe)

Step by Bakken, Kødbyen this thursday the 26th between 17.00 and 21.00 and get a bag decorated by Anika Lori. The occasion is the celebration of Covers cooperation with MasterCard and SamsøeSamsøe.. I guess Cover has loads of these cooperations, but nice for us when that results in the talented Anika Lori making limited edition bags
I think even though the clothes of Samsøe Samsøe are a bit too basic (boring?) for my taste, I think they are doing a better and better job, also with all this social media stuff – see fx this retweeted tweet)
