Go for a (moon) walk tonight!

Tonight is a very special full moon in 2010, because the moon will be 50.000 km closer to the planet than usual and be glowing 30 % more (this phenomenon is called “Perigee Moon”). Being a big fan of astronomy I will definitely go for a little “Moon (-watching-) Walk”

PS: also look out for Mars – it will show very close to the moon as sort of an orange star…
