Cologne

Tomorrow I’m off to Cologne for at study trip and I couldn’t be more excited about it, since we have a great program.

∆ Workshop at KHM (Kunsthochschule für Medien; Academy of Media Arts)

∆ Visit Museum Ludwig – and (among others) see the ‘russian avant-garde ‘ exhibition. (painting attached is by Kazimir Malevich “Dynamic Suprematism” – I think I’m in love..)

∆ Trip to Unna and see the the Centre for International Light Art.

∆ See Gasometer in Oberhausen

∆ Go to the Zeche Zollverein in Essen.

∆ Visit the ZKM (Zentrum für Kunst und Medientechnologie) in Karlsruhe.

If there is going to be time (and energy) for other stuff I could imagine stopping by these places….

Magasin-Populaire

Le Bloc

Arty Farty Gallery

And probably stop by the ‘Kölner Dom’ and check out the famous ‘knippe piller’ (this is only understandable and kinda funny when speaking danish)

If someone knows other good places to see – please comment.

Other than that I’m looking forward to just experience a new city and be seduced by its (hopefully) endless charm..
